Each day leading up to Christmas I’m sharing something to help you think more about your brand.

We’re all good at something.

Presumably, you’re really good at what you do – but do you know why?

What makes you good at it?

These are your brand strengths. The stuff you excel at as a person and as a business – what are the things that are helping you to grow?

It might be that you’re really good at listening, or finishing things. You might be an ideas person or a great connector. Maybe you communicate well or you’re very flexible, you ask good questions or you connect dots that other people can’t see.

Take a look at the evidence. Find testimonials. Ask clients.

Be realistic – this is fact gathering not emotional. It’s OK to proud of yourself, but equally don’t be SO proud that you lose clarity – clarity helps you build a stronger brand.

  • Do you have a great offer or a fascinating story?
  • What’s it like to work with you?
  • What are your successes?
  • What do you have that’s worth shouting about?
  • What do you have to show credibility? Qualifications, trainings, experience?

It’s about looking at what you’re really good at, recognising it, being grateful for it – and not forgetting to tell people about these things because whilst they are normal to you, to other people these are magical.

They’re also the reason why your clients work with you and not someone else.

Today: Note down the things that are helping your brand to grow. The stuff you have going for you. Be impressed with yourself (go you!) and keep these notes for later.
