Check it out here!

The new rules state:

“All covers are public. This means that anyone who visits your Page will be able to see your cover. Covers can’t be deceptive, misleading, or infringe on anyone else’s copyright. You may not encourage people to upload your cover to their personal timelines. Covers may not include images with more than 20% text.”

That 20% includes text based logos.

So once you’ve got your cover how you want it, pop in your Facebook ID above (ie “WhiteacresDesign“) and see if you’re breaking the rules. You can now include:

Screen shot 2013-03-21 at 08.28.21– contact information

– arrows

– calls to action

– prices

So now is a GREAT time to update your cover image and make it work harder for your business.  You can do this yourself using photos and text in something like http://www.picmonkey.com/ or you could always ask me 😉

UPDATE: These rules no longer apply – you can have as much text as you want!
