According to Social Media Examiner, Pinterest is”set to surge in 2016″ – are you ready?

I won’t go into details about this as you can read all of that over on the Social Media Examiner website, but here’s a brief synopsis:

– People on Pinterest like to buy – Pinterest sends people to websites where they spend money. This isn’t as successful on other platforms.

– Pinterest users have doubled in six months. Yep, six months. Hardly any time at all is it?!

– Unsurprisingly, with this huge increase in users, steady growth is expected for the future. Can’t be a bad thing if you’re using Pinterest.

– Pinterest could encourage more sales than Facebook. This is because Pinterest looks at what people actually want – what they are searching for, where Facebook looks at interests.

So if Pinterest users are growing and set to keep growing AND they visit websites to spend money AND Pinterest could drive more sales than Facebook, isn’t it something that’s worth spending some time on?

I’ve not been using Pinterest so well the last few months due to being on maternity leave, however, I’m still getting repins and traffic to my website from the effort (if you can call it that – Pinterest is so EASY) that I put in before then. It could be time to schedule some pins…

I put together a training on how to use Pinterest which is still relevant now – check out the video below and the Pinterest board. Get yourself Pinterest ready for all those new buyers.
