Are you taking action or you waiting for something to happen? If you’re waiting, what are you waiting for? Whatever it is, it’s getting in your way, stopping you moving forward, preventing you from reaching that goal – so what are you going to do about it? Is it something you can step around, remove or change? Do whatever it takes.
Maybe it’s you getting in your own way (that’s usually the case for me..)
Maybe you’re waiting to feel more confident or waiting for more sales or waiting for someone to ask you to do something.
The times when I’ve experienced the most growth in my business have been the times when I got out of my own way and jumped over the hurdles that I was nervous about.
When I started making videos and posting photos of my face (thanks to an amazing client telling me that was what I needed to do! She was right, thanks Nida!)
When I have committed to habits, programmes, courses and events.
When I started speaking up rather than hiding in the corner.
When I ran networking events (I still do this)
When I spoke at other peoples events.
When Very Shy Amy had to get brave and speak to strangers at these events…
… and back in 2010 when I started blogging.
For my clients I know they often feel held back because they don’t have clarity. They don’t know what they need to do or how to do it. They don’t know how to be consistent. They feel that their business doesn’t look right and they want to change that but they don’t know how.
So they come to me and I help them over their hurdles. I give them clarity and confidence and with renewed Brand Bravery they’re ready to get out there, show up and find more customers for their amazing business.
Step out of your comfort zone- don’t keep waiting for the wind to change or for someone else to do something for you – make something happen yourself. Pick up the phone. Send the email. Turn on the camera. Say yes to the thing that scares you and figure out how to get over it afterwards.
